The past few days have been pretty good for me. I had things to do to keep me occupied, today and yesterday I was
sharpening a knife. I have been doing more cooking recently and wanted a regular kitchen knife ( I had been useing
a serrated blade for everything) and remembered the blunt one we had.
It was under the sink, It had bits of rust on it but I buffed it out with some Bar Keepers Friend.
I had tried sharpening it before, but my sister came out of her room and yelled "it's sharp enough!" after about ten
strokes on the stone, it was not. Yesterday I waited until she left and got to work, I did this for about half an
hour. Today I gave it anouther go and I think I did it slightly better, I worked for about two hours, I don't think
I held a consistant angle, and the edge was already chiped all over, but it is servicable.
I also practiced talking out loud, since I don't get much practice. I just started reading from the dictionary.
