I've been reading more, I've set a goal of four books a month. I started out with some children's books to give my self some room to get started on the rest of the Hitchhiker's Guide series, I've read the first two several times, but I'll need to read them again before I start on the rest. I just finished the Borrowers series, it kind of lost the plot at "Aloft" with it dropping the framing of it being a story pieced together my multiple people, and I thought the bit about ghosts was completely unnecessary, and the end of "Avenged" felt particularly inconclusive. But still I enjoyed it, I can't say I could think of a good way to end it, since the goal of the protagonists was just to live life, so the only non-arbitrary way to end it would be to have someone drop a rock on them or something like those kids at the start of Fantastic Planet. (it has been a long time since I've seen Fantastic Planet) Tomorrow I will pick up some books I have on hold at the library, The "Light Fantastic" and "Equal Rites" by Terry Pratchett. I've always heard that the Discworld books were great, and a few weeks ago I found a paperback of "The Color of Magic" at a thriftstore and loved it. After finishing those I will begin my 4th attempt to read all of HGTTG.
